Ho Tram Beach Boutique · Location & getting there
Where Ho Tram Beach Boutique Resort Is, and How to Get There from Saigon
Ho Tram Beach Boutique Resort & Spa is on the coastal road at Ho Tram, about 107 km and 2 to 2.5 hours by car from Tan Son Nhat airport, and 53 km up the coast from Vung Tau. There is no public transport to the door, so most guests come by private car, the resort’s own shuttle from central Saigon or a limousine van, and plan short drives for meals and day trips.
Facts checked October 2026 against the hotel’s published information.

Three ways to get to Ho Tram Beach Boutique
About 2–2.5 h · door to door
Private car or resort transfer
The simplest option. A 7-seat car from central Ho Chi Minh City costs about US$120 one way with a private driver company, and the resort lists its own car at about US$95 for the vehicle (both October 2026). Since May 2026 the Bien Hoa–Vung Tau expressway takes most of the strain.
Choose it if you land at SGN, travel with luggage or children, or arrive after dark. Skip it if you are travelling solo on a tight budget.

Resort shuttle or limousine van
The resort’s shuttle leaves 48A Dang Dung, Tan Dinh, at 2 pm and needs 48 hours’ notice; the fare is not published. Limousine vans such as Toan Thang run from District 1 for about US$12–15 a seat, but many stop on the main road or in Ba Ria.
Choose it if you are already in central Saigon and travel light. Skip it if you land late: the shuttle leaves once a day at 2 pm.
Check rates for your dates →About 3 h · boat + taxi
Fast boat to Vung Tau, then a taxi
Greenlines hydrofoils leave Pier No. 4 on Bach Dang wharf in central Saigon for Vung Tau, a crossing of about two hours; adult fares were 320,000 VND on weekdays and 350,000 VND at weekends from July 2026, and a further change was announced from 1 October 2026. From the Vung Tau pier it is another 53 km, about an hour, by taxi or Grab.
Choose it if you want to see Vung Tau on the way, or the river trip itself. Skip it if you have heavy luggage or young children.

Book the room first, then add the transfer: ask the resort for its car or shuttle at least 48 hours ahead. Each rate shows its own cancellation terms.
Getting around once you are at Ho Tram
01
Book the ride back before dinner
Grab and Xanh SM operate here, but cars are few at night. Ask reception to book your return before you leave for a seafood dinner.
02
Bring cash in dong
The nearest ATMs are about 9 km away in the old Phuoc Buu town centre. Fish-market stalls and small restaurants take cash only.
03
Give the new address
Since July 2025 the area is Ho Tram commune, Ho Chi Minh City. Older maps say Phuoc Thuan, Xuyen Moc, Ba Ria–Vung Tau: it is the same coastal road.
Honest note
Ho Tram is beautiful but remote: there is no town to walk to, the nearest pharmacy is about 5 km away and the drive from Saigon takes longer than maps suggest at weekends. If you want restaurants on foot, stay in Vung Tau or Long Hai instead.
Questions about getting to Ho Tram Beach Boutique
How long does Ho Chi Minh City to Ho Tram Beach Boutique take by expressway?
About 2 hours from District 1 in light traffic, and 2.5 hours or more on Friday evenings. The route follows the Ho Chi Minh City–Long Thanh–Dau Giay expressway, then the Bien Hoa–Vung Tau expressway, fully open since 18 May 2026, to Ba Ria, and finally Highway 55 or the coastal road to Ho Tram.
Does the resort shuttle stop at Tan Son Nhat airport?
No, the listed shuttle starts from 48A Dang Dung Street in Tan Dinh, central Ho Chi Minh City, at 2 pm. From the airport, take a taxi to the pick-up point, about 20 to 30 minutes, or book a private car straight to the resort. Confirm the shuttle at least 48 hours ahead and ask for the fare.
Will Long Thanh airport make Ho Tram Beach Boutique easier to reach?
Yes, once it opens. Long Thanh International Airport is about 82 km from the resort, roughly 1.5 hours, against 107 km from Tan Son Nhat. Commercial flights are scheduled to start on 1 December 2026, with most international flights moving there in phases through 2027, so check which airport your ticket uses.
Can I take a Grab from Saigon to Ho Tram Beach Boutique?
You can book a long-distance Grab car from Ho Chi Minh City, and some guests find it cheaper than the resort transfer. Check the fare shown in the app before confirming, and expect a 2 to 2.5 hour ride. Getting a Grab back from Ho Tram is harder because few cars wait in the area, so pre-book the return.
Is it safe to drive a scooter around Ho Tram?
The coastal road is quiet on weekdays but fast, with trucks and resort traffic at weekends, and it is unlit in stretches at night. You need a valid licence that covers motorbikes, and travel insurance often excludes scooter accidents without one. For Ho Coc and the fish market, a taxi is the safer choice after dark.
What is the closest beach town to Ho Tram Beach Boutique?
Long Hai, about 28 km and 45 minutes west, is the nearest town with a run of beachfront restaurants; Vung Tau, about an hour away, is the nearest city. Closer by, Ho Tram fishing village (5 km) and Phuoc Hai (16 km) have markets and seafood stalls rather than a town centre.
