Ho Tram Beach Boutique Pools, Beach, Spa and Dining: What Is There and When

Ho Tram Beach Boutique Resort & Spa has two outdoor pools, a 30-metre salt-water pool and the sea-view Bliss Pool, plus a children’s pool, a beachfront with loungers, one main restaurant, a beach bar and a five-room spa. It is a resort for slow days by the water rather than a big activity programme, and the beach bar was listed as closed for all of October 2026.

What each facility is really like

Long straight pool reflecting tall casuarina trees, white umbrellas and loungers along the far edge

30 m · Salt water

The Salt Pool

A long, straight salt-water pool framed by the casuarina forest, good for laps and quieter than the Bliss Pool. It sits close to the Garden Rooms.

Good for lap swimming and a calm afternoon. Less good for small children, who have their own pool with a slide.

Aerial view of a long sandy beach with breaking waves on one side and a dense belt of casuarina trees on the other

Beachfront · Loungers and towels

The beach

Lawns lead straight onto a long, wide beach of pale sand. Loungers, umbrellas and towels are set out for guests; the beach itself is public. The sea is open ocean, with strong currents and bigger waves from November to February.

Good for long walks, sunrise and dinners on the sand. Less good for easy swimming in winter; use the pools on rough days.

Open-sided restaurant hall with dark timber posts, tiled roof, tables set with white cloths and garden views on both sides

7 am–10 pm · Breakfast 7–10 am

Gecko Restaurant

The main restaurant, a long open-sided hall under a tiled roof, serves the breakfast buffet and Vietnamese, seafood and international dishes all day. Guests rate the seafood and set menus; some find breakfast limited on quiet days.

Good for easy meals without leaving the resort. Less good for variety over a long stay; plan some dinners out.

An indoor kids’ club, a sand playground with a wooden climbing house, a children’s pool with a water slide and a weekly programme of crafts and movie nights. Ages and fees are not published.

Good for families with children aged roughly 3 to 10. Less good for teenagers, who will want the beach and a scooter ride into town.

10 am–10 pm · On the sand

Nautical beach bar

A wood-and-thatch bar on the sand with cocktails, light meals and, on some evenings, a seafood barbecue with live music. Listings show it closed from 1 to 31 October 2026, and an October review mentions renovation work.

Good for a sunset drink with your feet in the sand. Less good for October 2026 stays: check it has reopened.

Making the most of the facilities

01

Swim early or late

The Bliss Pool is busiest in the afternoon when day trips return. Early morning and after 5 pm are quietest, and the Salt Pool is usually calmer all day.

02

Book the spa for the evening

Evening slots go first. Booking ahead is also how you get the advertised hourly discount, valid until 31 December 2026.

03

Plan one dinner out

Ho Tram fish market (5 km) cooks what you pick, and Ho Coc (10.5 km) has open-air seafood houses. It breaks up a long stay at one restaurant.

Honest note

There is no gym on the resort’s own facilities list, even though some booking sites show one, and pool hours are not published anywhere. The sea is often too rough to swim from November to February.

Questions about the facilities at Ho Tram Beach Boutique

Is the Salt Pool at Ho Tram Beach Boutique heated?

Not according to anything the resort publishes, and in this climate it rarely needs to be: air temperatures stay above 23 °C at night all year. The salt-water pool is filled with salt water rather than chlorinated fresh water, which many guests find gentler on skin and eyes.

Can non-guests use the pools or buy a day pass at Ho Tram Beach Boutique?

The resort does not publish a day pass. Guests have asked about one, and the honest answer is to contact the hotel directly before you travel. Restaurant and spa bookings by non-guests are more likely to be accepted than pool access, especially on weekends.

Is there a gym at Ho Tram Beach Boutique?

The resort’s own facilities list does not include a gym; it lists tennis courts, kayaking, pétanque, billiards and a yoga pavilion instead. Some booking sites show a fitness room, so if a gym matters, ask the hotel when you book. The beach is long enough for a good run at sunrise.

Can you kayak at Ho Tram Beach Boutique?

Yes, the resort lists kayaking on its calm lagoon, which is a safer place to paddle than the open sea. There are also two tennis courts, a pétanque area, billiards and a yoga pavilion. Ask at reception for kayak times and any charge.

Are beach towels and loungers free at Ho Tram Beach Boutique?

Yes, loungers, umbrellas and beach towels are provided for guests on the stretch in front of the resort, and pool towels are at the pools. Bring your own shade for long walks along the beach, as the umbrellas stay near the resort.

Is there evening entertainment at Ho Tram Beach Boutique?

Low-key. On some evenings there is a seafood barbecue with live acoustic music on the beach, and the resort runs movie nights and a weekly local food market. There is no nightclub or show; for nightlife, The Grand Ho Tram, with its casino and concerts, is about 10 minutes away by car.

Two pools, a long beach and a quiet spa

The resort is built for slow days by the water. Check the room for your dates and compare the rates that include breakfast.
